I made this costume from my twin sister's prom dress which hung in my closet for 15 years after her death in 1989. I feel spiritually connected when I wear this costume which symbolizes our struggles with cancer. Sally died in 1989 from complications of a bone marrow transplant for leukemia. I survived breast cancer in 1999 and continue to be grateful for each day of my life.
